This section also provides support in designing and fabricating new products, machines and prototypes for all sections of MGIRI.

• Design & fabrication of power operated Potters Wheel.
• Design and fabrication of Gear Operated Passenger & Transport Pedal Rickshaw.
• Fabrication of Vermicompost Sieving Machine for bioprocessing section.
• Fabrication of four household Vermicomposting models (Kitchen Waste Model) for Bioprocessing section.
• Fabrication of Tamarind Brick Making Machine for Bioprocessing section.
• Fabrication of Tamarind Seed Separator Machine for Bioprocessing section.
• Fabrication of Khadi Yarn Mercerizing Machine (½ to 1 Kg capacity) for Khadi & Textile section.
• Vishwakarma Abhiyan: Providing opportunity for close interaction with master craftsmen, designers and technical expert.
• Closely interacted with IGNOU in the process of development of distance education modules for certification of Potters.
• Six workshops have been held in various parts of the country (Bhadravati, Bishunpur, Dehradun, Faridabad, etc.) for interaction with artisans and for developing innovative designs of different crafts like pottery, metal crafts, bamboo, twig and branch furniture, etc. The innovative products designs have been developed in these workshops and displayed in exhibitions.
• Three workshops for welding technicians to improve their quality and productivity have been held in rural Punjab.
