Activities and Salient Achievements

Development of Herbal Quality Control lab.

• Manual for “GMP and Quality Control of Herbal Drugs” has been developed in collaboration with NBRI, Lucknow.
• Herbal Garden - The Herbal garden containing fifty commonly used medicinal plants has been developed inside the campus consisting of species like Saariva, Tinospora cordifolia, Ocimum sanctum, Aloe vera Hindi name - Ghritkumari, Tulsi, Giloe, Haldi, Satavari, etc.
• Labeling of eighty four trees inside the MGIRI campus.
• Standardization of the following herbal formulations & Panchagavya Products
  1. Harade Choorna
  2. Vasa kalpa
  3. Swithranashak Vati
  4. Swithranashak Lepa
  5. Triphala Churana / Antidiabetic formulation .
  6. Six medicinal Plants as per Ayurvedic Pharmacopoeia
