Main Focus
The focus of activities of the herbal section is to develop GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) and Standardization procedures in this upcoming area.
Effort is also being made to develop and test new formulations of herbal products for easy adaptation by rural entrepreneurs, NGO,s and self-help groups. The section is equipped to provide quality assurance support to these entrepreneurs.
