Activities
The major activities for MGIRI are as follows:

• Appropriate need identification and project formulation in key areas of RI
• Carrying out specific technology dissemination mission projects dedicated to augment rural entrepreneurship.
• Carrying out specialized HRD programs, entrepreneurship development programs, technology dissemination workshops and field workshops in artisans clusters.
• Providing technical services in the form of quality assurance, brand promotion, energy and productivity audit of Rural industries etc.
• Liaisoning with CAPART and other Rural Development Institutions and Field Agencies to cater to their S&T needs.
• Facilitating and monitoring the work of various technical interfaces.
